Stressed?

Well, I am! There’s so much more to do right now…stuff to do at home, workplace, missing my friends, having my priorities changed, always short of time, ignoring my ‘to do list’, irritated, want to run away, craving more success, dislike some colleagues, love some.….and lots more to share!!

Hold on….!

Ask yourself to stop for once and analyse how much stress are you going through. Is it naturally just existing or is it created by you?

I will give you 3 different levels of the monster STRESS, choose yours!

1. NOT ENOUGH GOING ON: “UNDER STRESS”

FEELINGS-

* Bored

* Demotivated.      

* Restless. 

* Lethargic. 

PERFORMANCE-

* Keep putting things off.

* Easily distracted.

* Low production.

* Getting preoccupied with unimportant details/thoughts.

2. THE RIGHT AMOUNT GOING ON: “OPTIMUM STRESS”

FEELINGS-                            

* Excited.                                    

* Motivated.                                 

* High self-esteem.                  

* Confidence and optimism.

* Energetic.

PERFORMANCE-

* Logical thinking

* Creative thinking

*  High results.

* Sound judgment.

3. TOO MUCH GOING ON: “OVER STRESS”

FEELINGS-                                    

* Fatigue.                                         

* Irritability.  

* Overwhelmed.                                

* Close to tears.                                  

* Loss of perspective

PERFORMANCE-

 * Forgetfulness.

* Lack of concentration.  

* Irrational decisions

* Poor communication.

Got it so far??

Stress is good as long as it is helping you achieve your goals in life. Be cautious when it starts being an obstacle!
